Pianist Catherine Knowlton is a graduate of New England Conservatory of Music where she studied piano with Stephen Drury and composition with Joe Maneri. A three-time winner of the Granite State Piano competition in New Hampshire, she also won the New England Conservatory honors piano competition in 1988, was a semi-finalist in the Stravinsky Awards International Piano Competition in 1989, and won the Commonwealth Competition for Young pianists in 1991.
