The Third Portsmouth Peace Treaty Forum
Concluding Remarks
Charles B. Doleac
I now call the forum to a conclusion. I want to thank the participants. I want to thank the questioners. I want to thank the guests. And in conclusion, I would like to say this.
In 1905, in Portsmouth, an uncommon commitment to peace was a common virtue. No matter what the current political situation may be in Russia, Japan, or the United States, the Japan-America Society of New Hampshire and Russia Society of New Hampshire will continue these forums, continue the dialogue and try to provide something that our Portsmouth history provided Russia and Japan in 1905, in conjunction with Baron Komura and Count Witte. Thank you very much.
